Baby Safety Search
By Dave Kettner
If you do a Google search for baby safety, the first result that is returned is for a sponsored link. The sponsored link is for BabiesRUs.com. BabiesRUs is a part of the Toys R Us Company.
The first result for baby that was returned was really for BabyCenter.com. This is an online community for pregnancy, baby and toddler information, baby gifts and parenting. They have online tools like ovulation calculators and a baby names directory.
The second baby search result on Google came back for BabyCatalog.com. This website offers popular brand name baby items at discount prices. The baby products that they offer on their website are varied and include kits for baby-proofing indoors and outdoors.
The result that came in third when I used Google to look for baby items was the JPMA website. The JPMA is the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association. They are a national trade organization that represents 95 percent of this $6 billion dollar industry.
The United States government came up in my baby

Nestle Recalls Lean Cuisine Meals
Chicken dinners recalled due to plastic pieces
2009 Cadillac CTS Recalled

2009 VW Passats Recalled
Possible problem with the steering gear.
Google search. They were the fourth result. The page that resulted from going to the provided URL was a list of all of the Child Publications available from the US Consumer Product Commission.
I tried my search for baby on Altavista to compare the results that I had gotten with my Google search. The first result for baby was for a website called BabySafetyFoam.com. They had a link to a hearth guard that was a custom and sized-to-fit. It is supposed to protect your baby from injuries by completely covering your dangerous hearth surface with soft, fire-resistant foam padding.
The second result for the Altavista search was the same as the first result in my Google search for baby safety. But, the third search result for baby was different. The result was for KidSource.com. They describe themselves as providing in-depth and timely education and healthcare information that will make a difference in the lives of parents and children. I liked this baby website so much that I bookmarked it.
